Walking into Melange Korea, I immediately felt a sense of calm. The whole space is very clean and minimal, with soft lighting that makes everything feel warm and relaxing. It’s not the kind of place that feels too clinical. Instead, it’s cosy and quiet, almost like a little escape from the outside. Once I was in the treatment room, it felt private and comfortable, which made it really easy to just switch off.

The staff were really gentle and approachable. They explained each step in a simple way, not overwhelming at all, and kept checking in to make sure I was okay, especially during extraction. I didn’t feel rushed, and the whole session moved at a very comfortable pace.

My Collagen Facial Treatment Experience at Melange Korea

I went in for their Collagen Facial Treatment, hoping for something that could hydrate my skin and give it a bit of a glow. Overall, it felt more like a skin reset than anything too intense, focusing on restoring moisture and helping the skin look more plump and refreshed.

Step 1: Double cleanse

They started with a double cleanse to remove dirt, oil, and any leftover sunscreen. My skin already felt fresh after this, but not dry or tight.

Step 2: Gentle exfoliation

They used the Aphrodite P3 exfoliating gel with pear, peach, and papaya extracts. I really liked this part because it didn’t feel harsh at all. No scrubbing sensation, just a gentle way to lift off dead skin, which worked well for my sensitive rosacea skin.

Step 3: Steam

Warm steam was applied to open up my pores. It felt quite relaxing and helped prep my skin for the next step.

Step 4: Extraction

They did the extraction for blackheads and whiteheads. This part is never the most comfortable, but the therapist was quite gentle and didn’t overdo it, which I appreciated.

Step 5: Serum and cooling

Right after extraction, they applied a soothing serum and used a cooling device on my skin. This honestly felt so good. It helped calm everything down and reduced the heat and redness.

Step 6: Face and shoulder massage

This was one of my favourite parts. The massage was slow and relaxing, especially around my shoulders and jaw area. I didn’t realize how tense I was until this step.

Step 7: Medusa Divine Mask with LED Photon Machine and Nano Mist

They applied the Medusa Divine Mask, followed by LED light therapy and a nano mist spray. This step felt very calming. I was basically just lying there letting everything absorb into my skin.

Step 8: Final Application of Aphrodite Day Cream

They finished with the Aphrodite Day Cream with green tea leaf extract and grape seed extract. It felt lightweight but moisturising, and my skin looked more fresh and slightly glowy after.
