Lately, my skin has been feeling dull, tired, and dehydrated, so I knew it was time to give it the extra care it deserved. That’s when I decided to book myself a pampering facial session at Melange Korea, and honestly, it turned out to be such a lovely experience.

The moment I stepped into the outlet, I was instantly drawn to its vibrant colours and elegant European-inspired aesthetic. The space felt luxurious yet welcoming, making it easy for me to switch into full relaxation mode. Once inside the treatment room, everything felt calm, cosy, and comfortable—exactly what I needed for a self-care day.

The staff were friendly and before starting, the beautician carefully analysed my skin and explained every step of the facial. This makes me feel comfortable and I was assured I’m in good hands.

My experience on Hydro-Aqua & Shalab Facial at Melange Korea

After assessing my skin, the beautician recommended the Hydro-Aqua & Shalab Facial. The Hydro-Aqua facial is a next-level skin infusion treatment for deep hydration and renewal, while the Shalab Facial is a needle-free skin infusion for instant comfort and glow. Together, they work beautifully to leave the skin looking plumper, smoother and glowing from within.

Here’s how the treatment went:

Step 1: Double cleanse

The facial began with a double cleanse to remove makeup, excess oil, and daily impurities. My skin instantly felt fresher and cleaner.

Step 2: Gentle Exfoliation with Aphrodite P3 Exfoliating Gel

Next, they applied the Aphrodite P3 exfoliating gel enriched with pear, peach, and papaya extracts. This exfoliating gel is super gentle on the skin, effectively lifting away dead skin cells and buildup.

Step 3: Warm Steam

To open up my pores, they used the warm steam. This helps to prep my skin for easier and gentler extraction.

Step 4: Extraction

This step removed my blackheads, whiteheads and oil seed. I was initially worried that this might be painful, but my therapist was incredibly gentle, making the session more comfortable than I expected.

Step 5: Serum and cooling

After extraction, they applied a soothing serum to calm my skin down and reduce redness.

Step 6: Face and shoulder massage

My favorite part of doing facials. The massage was relaxing and I didn’t even realize how tight my muscles were around the shoulder area until the beautician worked on it.

Next, came the Aphrodite Brightening Mask which helps to calm, hydrate, brighten and boost an instant glow. This was followed by a refreshing Rose Water Mist to further reduce redness, tightens pores and soothe irritation.

Step 8: Hydro MicroNeedling Machine

The Hydro Microneedling technology, creates micro-channels in the skin while simultaneously delivering nourishing serums deep beneath the surface. This step helps to improve skin texture, boost hydration, and refine overall complexion.

Step 9: Shalab Facial

The Shalab Facial uses an advanced air-pressure delivery system to infuse skin boosters into the skin without needles. What I loved most is that it’s completely pain-free with zero downtime. It instantly improves skin’s hydration, softness, tightness and promotes a naturally radiant look. It felt incredibly comfortable, and I could literally feel my skin absorbing in all the goodness.

Step 8: Final Application of Aphrodite Day Cream

The facial ended by applying Aphrodite Day Cream with green tea leaf extract and grape seed extract. I loved how it felt lightweight and yet moisturizing, the bonus that it also works as a sunscreen too.

Overall, I truly enjoyed my experience at Melange Korea.

The treatment was comfortable, relaxing and thoughtfully customized to my skin’s needs. I’m impressed seeing how hydrated, plump, and radiant my skin looked immediately after the session.

My skin felt softer, looked visibly fresher, and had that healthy glass-skin-like glow that lasted beyond the treatment day. The friendly staff score extra brownie points for their attentiveness throughout my treatment.
